Bass Memorial Academy Church Welcomes New Pastor

The Bass Memorial Academy Church in Lumberton, Miss. is excited to welcome Pastor Andre and Nicole Weston to their new home and church family.

The Weston’s come to us from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, where he has served as a pastor for the last three and a half years.

A real answer to prayer, the Weston’s come just at the right time. The church wishes to thank our head elder, Jason Shives, who continued leading us until our conference team found the right fit for the church.

We welcomed our new pastor and first lady on Sabbath, June 22. A pastoral installation service was led by Pastor Cary Fry, Gulf State Conference VP for Pastoral Development. At the fellowship dinner, continued warm and welcoming wishes were given, and some introductions were made as well. A “Survival Kit” to Pastors coming into a new church was also presented, containing lots of treats and goodies.

Pastor Weston stated, “I look forward with anticipation to welcoming back and receiving our students into their church when the school year begins. We are a family, and the Bass Memorial Academy Church is wonderfully positioned to be a house of prayer and a safe home for everyone. Let us love together as we worship together and work together. Until then, let’s press together in the blessed hope of the soon coming of Jesus.”

We wish them God’s blessing as they start their new life in our church.
