“Revelation of Hope” seminar, sponsored by Huntsville Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, was well attended by those seeking an understanding of Bible prophecy. The seminar was held on weekends only, February 16 through March 10. Central Church pastor, Jonathan Davidson, and his father, Pastor Jim Davidson, Southern Union executive secretary, presented two very timely topics during each session. Each meeting ended with an opportunity for attendees to affirm their understanding of the subjects covered.
The Revelation of Hope attendees were blessed to be able to view the beautiful slides on the 10’ x 16’ “video wall,” which was made available to Huntsville Central Church for this event by the Southern Union Conference, with the projection system being efficiently managed by the Union technicians.
Highlighting the blessing of Christian education were the baptisms of five young people, who are students at Big Cove Christian Academy. Three of these young people were baptized by their grandfather, retired Central Church pastor, Randy Mills.
The series concluded with a total of 15 people joining the church by baptism or profession of faith, with several others making plans to be baptized soon.
