Administration in the Gulf States Conference is comprised of these officers:

  • President

  • Executive Secretary

  • Treasurer

  • VP of Education

  • VP of Pastor and Church Development

While each administrative officer has specific duties relating to several departments within the Conference, these officers work together in providing support to the many ministries and services provided to the church members, members of the community, and churches in the Conference.

The administration has been selected to serve in their positions because of their values, dedication to God, and commitment to providing the quality of workmanship that will lead this conference in its mission of Touching Lives for Jesus.

The President guides the work of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Gulf States from its Montgomery, Alabama, headquarters. He serves on various organization boards operated by the church, and lends leadership to mission, evangelism, educational, and humanitarian strategies.

Brian has been serving the Gulf States Conference for many years. First as a pastor and now in the office on the administrative team. A native to the South, Brian is passionate about working for God and inspiring others to do the same.

Stan leads the educational ministry of the Gulf States Conference which encompasses many schools and Childhood Centers in three states, including Bass Memorial Academy. These institutions provide the youth in our conference an opportunity to obtain an education that connects them to both excellence in academics and the message of salvation in Jesus Christ.

VP of Pastoral development

A new position to the conference, taking the place of a ministerial director, Cary seeks to create a tighter link between the conference and the front line laborers. Cary works closely with each pastor to plan and execute an endeavor to make their local church a successful soul-winning mission post.
