With a mission to “serve the poor and hurting in Christ’s name,” it provides mentoring programs, tutoring, health education and assistance, inner city missions and disaster response.

Adventist® Community Services is the non-profit, humanitarian agency for the Seventh-day Adventist Church® that works within North America, including Guam and Micronesia through more than 1,100 localities and upholds the beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist® World Church organization.
What does Adventist® Community Services do?
Adventist® Community Services (ACS) has been established as a humanitarian relief, and individual and community development ministry to fulfill the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church® in the United States and Bermuda which is to “serve communities in Christ’s name”. ACS provides services through the ministries of as Disaster Response, Crisis Care/Disaster Response Chaplaincy Program, Youth Empowered to Serve, Tutoring and Mentoring Programs, Elder Care, and Community Development/Urban Ministry/Inner City Ministries.”
What is our Vision?
To integrate continuing leadership education, build collaborative partnerships and expand our scope of community services.
The Annual Day of Giving for Adventist Community Services is on Sabbath December 14, 2024. This offering keeps volunteers serving communities across the North American Division. Whether distributing food and clothes, welcoming refugees, teaching life skills, or offering showers to the unsheltered, ACS fulfills Christ’s mission to reach people by meeting needs and making communities places of wholeness.
